The good outweighs the bad (barely)
The beach is the best on the island! With super clean sand and clear water, it's perfect for lounging. The staff is really good.
Our room near the entrance had some distractions from nearby traffic, especially at night. While it didn't ruin our stay, it was a slight annoyance during our first morning.

Mawimbi Boutique exceeded my expectations. The beach was immaculate, with calm, clear, shallow, and warm waters. The hotel had a romantic vibe, perfectly centered and private. I loved how the staff worked tirelessly to maintain the beach and hotel. They constantly cleaned the sand and seaweed, showing real dedication to keeping the area pristine. Breakfast was included and delicious-especially the beautiful tostada de pulpo. The coffee was hot, tasty, and strong every morning. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. The hotel felt almost private due to the limited number of guests. I really appreciated their commitment to using glass instead of plastic, showing a strong effort to reduce waste on the island. I also felt a bit uneasy about paying a deposit through PayPal, something I hadn't experienced before at hotels. I loved my stay here and hope to return someday!

Loved the atmosphere here! The standard king room had everything from air conditioning to a rain-style shower. Enjoyed the quiet street view and the spacious layout. The spa services were great with full body massages. The beach area was super relaxing, kept clean and free of seaweed, laying directly in front of the hotel was a big plus.

I was charmed by the shabby-chic décor throughout the hotel with good touches like conch shell showers and rustic furniture. The serene beach area was easily accessible.
More accessible seating options would be appreciated.

Perfect beachfront features make lounging a treat, with soft sand and warm, clear waters perfect for relaxation. Each room boasts stylish décor and comfort.
The lobster in the pasta left much to be desired-chewy and a bit tough, disappointing compared to the otherwise nice dining options. Paying a deposit through PayPal felt unusual and slightly concerning for a pricey hotel. It raised eyebrows as it's not a common practice.
